At Three Pillars, we believe that three simple pleasures are the pillars to gracious living and a good life:
Food, Wine & Music
With food, wine and music at hand, life is good!
The Three Pillars Brand consists of brands at three price points: The 'Gourmet' range, The 'Maestro' Range, and the 'Vintner' Range
The Gourmet range consists of value-for-money, single varietal wines from South Australia that celebrate the enjoyment of creating a meal, sharing a table with family and friends and indulging in the colours and flavours of great food
The Maestro Range is a premium range of regional wines dedicated to all those who compose and perform music and is a celebration of the joy music brings to one's life.
Three Pillars 'The Vintner'
The Vintner range is a range of super premium wines dedicated to what we believe is the most important pillar of a good life: wine.
THE VINTNER RANGE
Peter Pollard - Winemaker
Peter was introduced to the wine industry at a young age and quickly developed a passion. While studying for a degree in Oenology at the University of Adelaide, Peter completed a vintage with Peter Lehmann Wines in the Barossa Valley. Intent on broadening his experience, Peter spent the first half of 2001 working as a contract winemaker with Simeon Wines at Loxton and then travelled to the USA to work the 2001 vintage with Geyser Peak Wines in Sonoma Valley, California. In 2001 Peter joined Langhorne Creek Winery as Assistant Winemaker. Peter continued to grow and challenge himself as the business has expanded and he is now Three Pillars' Senior Winemaker. In his spare time Peter enjoys his cricket and football and catching up with family and friends.
Alicia Zerella - Designer
After spending her entire school life at Loreto College Marryatville, Alicia successfully completed Year 12 in 2008. During this time, she undertook numerous leadership roles and represented Loreto in a number of academic and sporting teams, including captaining the School Athletic team in her final year.
Alicia has always shown an interest in various elements of design, so it was no surprise that when she finished high school, she was accepted into Uni SA, where she continues to study. Given her family background, Alicia’s interest in wine and particularly wine labelling is also no surprise. At the age of four she turned her cubby house into a cellar door and she became quite a label critic after hours of walking through wine shops and trying to find her favourite label.
As she begins to grow her label portfolio, Alicia hopes you will enjoy the Three Pillars experience as much as she has.
